Absentee Voting

Charette 2019

During my first semester of graduate school, we went through a three day design sprint. On the first day we were given a topic: Millennial Voters. 

Our goal:
To help make students aware of the process of absentee voting.

Target audience:
Absentee Voters, University students

Why bathrooms?
Captive audience, high visitation rate, shared experience, and wildly unexpected!

While testing, we quickly found that because this experience was held within a bathroom stall, people were hesitant to interact with our design. Myself and a teammate locked the other stalls to force people to use it. As people left, teammates interviewed the users, asking about how they felt during their experience, what could be improved upon.
