Summer 2019

During a 3 month internship at the Philadelphia Zoo, my main project was creating an infographic helping visitors understand and spot the differences between the two similar animals within the Reptile House. 

 

After a lot of research into the two animals, I set to creating an infogrpahic. This was something I struggled with. The combination of highlighting the physical differences, the size of panel, and the comparing and contrasting style posed to be more complicated for myself then I expected.

While this turned out to be just the starting point for future rounds of editing and adjusting beyond my internship dates, I learned about the importance of asking for help when I feel stuck.

If I were to continue working on this project, I would explore different backgrounds around the animals to help destinguish which is the Alligator and which is the crocodile.
